Memory Care Specialist (MCS)
A Memory Care Specialist (MCS) is assigned to each memory care resident, and he or she gets to know the resident: their experiences, talents, preferences, and abilities. The MCS then creates a plan to reinforce each resident’s identity and allows them to experience meaning and purpose each day.

Extensive Training
Every MCS has extensive training and additional education or licensing to provide the necessary support and counseling memory care residents need. They will assess individual interests and abilities, which can be matched with activities that tap into explicit memories that reinforce personality and identity.
