Meet Our Pets
We know pets are important to many people at all stages of life. At Cambree, we love animals and appreciate the important role pets play in our day-to-day lives. Each Community collaborates with one or more local shelters to adopt a cat or dog (sometimes both!) to stay with our residents. They become part of our wellness program, and we encourage residents to spend as much time with our resident pets are much as possible.
The Importance
Our Pet Philosophy
Community pets provide companionship, sense of purpose, social engagement, and opportunities to remain active. We all help take care of the community pets, and encourage you to engage with your community’s pet as much or as little as you like through feeding, walking, and other daily care. If you don’t love pets, that’s okay, too—interactions are carefully managed by Cambree team members.
While all pets need homes, our communities typically turn first to animal rescue organizations to explore pet options, as these are pets that exhibit calm and friendly temperaments that are best suited for our residents. We are proud to partner with local organizations to find our furry friends forever homes!
Each Cambree community has a resident cat or dog, and you are welcome to bring your own furry friends with you when you move in.
