What is
Memory Care
Memory care is a long-term care solution for older adults living with memory loss, including Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Generally, these services include a secure unit with staff trained to understand the needs of people with dementia.
Cambree
Memory Care Program
At Cambree, we offer the Cambree Memory Care Program (MCP), a neighborhood specially designed for people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other forms of memory loss. These are calm and secure areas that are designed so resident suites are located next to living and dining areas, promoting easy navigation and social interaction. Our memory care services feature separate areas, memory-focused activities, and Memory Care Specialists who are trained in validation therapy and other special memory care techniques.

Cambree uses the evidence-based Dementia Care Practice Recommendations in the following topic areas: Alzheimer’s and dementia, person-centered care, assessment, and care planning, activities of daily living, and behaviors and communication.
